Jacob Elordi, 24, is an Australian actor that is slowly creeping up in the world of Hollywood and creating a name for himself. Originally his career started off with a small role as an extra in Pirates and the Caribbean: Dead Man Tells No Tales back in 2017 but his career has really taken off thanks to his role as Noah Flynn in the Netflix teen film The Kissing Booth (2018) where he starred alongside his then girlfriend Joey King (Elle). This role of teen heart throb gave the young actor a feverish following of fans and helped the movie become a hit, which inevitably spurred on the making of The Kissing Booth 2 and 3 in the following years.
These days Jacob Elordi is stretching new acting muscles by playing the volatile Nate Jacobs in HBOs television drama Euphoria (2019-present) alongside other skillful actors such as Zendaya, Hunter Schafer and Angus Cloud. This is a completely different type of role in comparison to his soft natured characters that he tends to get cast as. It’s well known that Elordi does not want to get stuck in a category (such as heart throb) like a lot of actors in the industry and makes sure to look for roles that go against the grain. Nevertheless, the one thing that remains consistent whether Jacob Elordi plays the love interest, or the villain, is that his hair always looks absolutely amazing.
So, in our good ol’ NO GUNK fashion, we are presenting our style guide of Jacob Elordi’s best haircuts and hairstyles. It features the floppy side parting haircut from Euphoria and Elordi’s elite lockdown the mullet which caused a stir in every woman that laid eyes on him.
It is unsurprising that the Euphoria fandom is losing its head over the preppy side parting that Elordi sports when playing the school jock, Nate Jacobs. It’s a simple haircut that compliments a wide variety of hair types and textures and, the best part, it’s super easy to maintain. Elordi looks amazing with this haircut throughout the series, and it goes to show that attitude can really elevate a brand-new hairstyle.
How To Cut:
Book an appointment with your barber and ask for a classic short back and sides for the Nate Jacobs haircut. Make sure to ask for a scissor cut instead of using clippers as this will give your hair a more natural look. For the top you’re going to want to cut it around four to five inches and taper it off slightly towards the back. You don’t want to taper it too short as this hairstyle really makes use of that extra length. Finally go over the hair and texturize the ends to give your hair that volume.
How To Style:
The mullet rose in popularity during the 20202 lockdowns where we saw people of all ages trying out this controversial hairstyle, including celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Rhianna, and comedy legend Seth Rogan. The mullet isn’t a new thing and many celebrities have tried out this haircut at some point or another such as football star, David Beckham, singer, David Bowie, and the iconic, Brad Pitt. Now Jacob Elordi can add his name to the list of A-Listers that have tried out the mullet. Keep in mind for the haircut to work you’ll need to
How To Cut:
This hairstyle might go smoother if you show your barber a picture of the type of haircut you’re trying to recreate first (above). Next isolate the hair four sections using clips: top, back, and each of the sides. Starting with the top hair you want to scissor-cut it until it’s about three or four inches in length. Next, trim the sides by point-cutting into the hair. The hair should be longer towards the top and taper down towards the ears. If you want a more modern look, ask your barber to skin fade the hair around the ears to make everything looking a lot fresher. For the back you just want to make sure it matches the length on the top and has a little texture put in. Finally blend all the hair together.
How To Style:
And, just like that, you officially look like one of the hottest guys in Euphoria. Enjoy your new style!
